The Pharaohs réédités en vinyle !

The Pharaohs – In The Basement
Following the reissue of the Pharaohs’ glorious release “The Awakening” – their only previously released album – Luv N’ Haight Records presents In The Basement, a collection of obscure b-sides and never-released tracks. All the Pharaoh’s trademarks are here; R&B fused with the rhythms of Africa and the (other) Americas, futuristic renderings of soul standards (check the Sun Ra influenced “People Make The World Go Round”), and out-and-out party funk delivered with the assured looseness and horny punch that only the very best funk bands can deliver.
