Verdine White, Nile Rodgers, Bootsy, Kravitz Tribute to Nick Ashford

A l’annonce de la disparition de Nick Ashford hier soir, les artistes ont rapidement réagi via les réseaux sociaux comme Twitter pour lui rendre hommage. Voici une compilation des premiers témoignages.

Verdine White (Earth, Wind & Fire) via le Los Angeles Times :
“They had magic, and that’s what creates those wonderful hits, that magic”. “Without those songs, those artists wouldn’t have been able to go to the next level. The thing is, they were married and working together, that was what was special about them; everybody admired that.”

Nile Rodgers (Chic)  via twitter et son blog :
“I just got a phone call from close family friend that Nick Ashford has passed away. He was a dear friend to me and my foundation. Ashford and Simpson gave CHIC our first big break-We arranged “Don’t Cost You Nothing” & “By Way Of Love’s Express”-R.I.P. Nick Ashford
